Shrigonda constituency, located in Ahmednagar district, is one of the 288 assembly constituencies in Maharashtra.

Babanrao Bhikaji Pachpute of BJP won the Shrigonda Assembly seat in the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly Elections, narrowly defeating the NCP candidate. Pachpute secured victory with 48.9% of the votes, while his closest rival, Ghanshyam Prataprao Shelar of the NCP, followed closely with 46.6% of the vote share.
This election marked a shift in voter preference from the 2014 election, in which the NCP's Rahul Kundlikrao Jagtap emerged victorious.
The Shrigonda constituency is primarily rural, with over 92% of its population residing in rural areas, according to the 2011 Census.
