Pachora
Pachora represents a legislative assembly constituency within Maharashtra.
During the 2019 elections, Pachora had 315,444 registered voters with 201,417 valid votes cast. Kishor Appa Patil of Shiv Sena emerged victorious with 75,699 votes, defeating Independent candidate Amol Panditrao Shinde by a margin of 2,084 votes, who received 73,615 votes.
The 2014 elections saw 287,812 registered voters with 189,644 valid votes. Shiv Sena's Kishor Appa Patil secured victory with 87,520 votes, whilst Nationalist Congress Party's Dilip Onkar Wagh received 59,117 votes, trailing by 28,403 votes.
In 2009, the constituency recorded 252,303 voters with 162,670 valid votes. Nationalist Congress Party's Wagh Dilip Onkar won with 79,715 votes, defeating Shivsena's Tatyassaheb R O Patil who secured 73,501 votes, a difference of 6,214 votes.
The upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections are set for November 20, 2024, with vote counting scheduled for November 23.
Maharashtra's electorate of 9.64 crore will select 288 representatives, including 29 Scheduled Castes and 25 Scheduled Tribes constituencies. The electoral battle features the Mahayuti alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP) against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (Congress, Shiv Sena UBT, Sharad Pawar's NCP faction).
Following the results, political parties have 72 hours to establish a government before the current assembly term concludes on November 26. Should coalition formation fail, President's Rule remains an option.
