Pooja Hegde to reunite with Allu Arjun after the hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo? Here's what we know

Pooja Hegde is gearing up for the release of Kartik Subbaraj’s directorial venture Retro, and the recently released trailer has won hearts with its classic vintage vibe. Pooja has responded to questions about her potential collaboration with Allu Arjun, as the duo previously delivered a hit combination in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
During the audio launch of Retro, Pooja Hegde addressed the possibility of teaming up with Allu Arjun once again. Responding to the buzz, Pooja said, “If there’s a good story, good characters, and if it fits right, then we’ll do it.”
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, featured Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde alongside Jayaram, Tabu, Sushanth, Nivetha Pethuraj, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Samuthirakani, Navdeep, Sunil, Harsha Vardhan, and Govind Padmasoorya in key roles. The film became the highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2020, crossing around Rs 250 crores at the box office. The soundtrack also produced several chart-topping hits.


Pooja’s Retro, co-starring Kollywood star Suriya, is set to hit theatres on 1st May 2025. She is also set to appear alongside Thalapathy Vijay in Jana Nayagan. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is expected to be the final movie in Thalapathy Vijay’s career, as he is transitioning into full-time politics.
There are also rumours that Pooja will feature in a special dance number in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-awaited Coolie, starring Rajinikanth.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun, who is riding high on the success of the global hit Pushpa 2, is making headlines for his upcoming collaboration with Atlee for A6. He is also expected to reunite with Trivikram Srinivas for a mythological drama.
