Part-time guest teachers invited for spoken english programme in govt schools in Mudipu

Mangaluru: Applications have been invited for the position of part-time guest teachers under a special spoken english and life skills learning programme, to be launched in 10 selected govt schools in Mudipu area of Ullal taluk. The ‘Skill in Village' programme, is being implemented by Jana Shikshana trust in partnership with Deshpande Foundation, the department of school education and literacy, gram panchayats, development journalists, school development committees, and local community, under the guidance of Dr Jeevan and NC Murthy. Schools located in Kalkatta, Montepadavu, Hoohakuva Kallu, Mudungarukatte, Parappu, Ira Talittabettu, Panel, Konaje Padavu, Belma Derlakatte, and Kuthar DK ZP Higher Primary Schools, are identified for the programme. The guest teachers need to have the a teacher training or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for the part time opportunity. Selected candidates will conduct one-hour daily session for students from classes 5 to 7. Preference will be given to local candidates from the respective school areas or from Mudipu.
