Neighbours in Gurgaon’s Bajghera come to blows over parking spat, leave 5 injured
Gurgaon: A family was allegedly assaulted by neighbours after a scuffle over parking in Bajghera.
The complainant, Manish, alleged that he and his family were attacked by members of a rival group led by Hitesh around 10am on Saturday outside his house, where a family function was underway, which left multiple members injured.
He added that Hitesh, accompanied by another person in a black Thar car, arrived at the scene and began hurling abuses asking them to remove their vehicle from his premises. Manish had allegedly parked his car in Hitesh's side due to the ongoing function.
He added that his family and the other group are already having a fight over a legal dispute concerning land.
Hitesh allegedly threatened to kill Manish and his family if they did not withdraw the case. Following this, physical violence ensued, with more family members from Hitesh's side, including Om Prakash, Ramnath, two men named Sunil, and three women, forcibly entering Manish's home and attacking the women present.
The complaint mentioned that elderly members of the household were also assaulted. An unnamed minor with a disability was also reportedly involved on the side of the accused.
Medical reports confirmed injuries to five individuals, including Manish and female members of his family. Manish also expressed concern for his family's safety, citing threats of further violence from the accused.
A case was registered under sections 115 (causing hurt), 190 (unlawful assembly), 191 (2) (rioting), 333 (house trespassing) and 351 (3) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and police have initiated an investigation.
