MUMBAI: An alert women's squad attached to the Dadar Government Railway Police (GRP) apprehended a 35-year-old man who had sexually harassed a woman commuter on a Central Railway local train less than two weeks ago. The accused, Rahul Jagdhane, had attempted to mislead investigators by boarding and alighting from multiple trains after the incident, police said.
The incident occurred on February 20 at around 10:15 pm. The 23-year-old complainant was traveling on a local train when she noticed the accused seated in an adjacent handicapped compartment.

After she lodged a police complaint, officers reviewed CCTV footage from various stations. They found video evidence of the accused changing trains on both Western and Central Railway, repeatedly entering and exiting railway premises.
