AJ Styles had been missing in action for a while before he returned to the 2025 Royal Rumble event. Since then he has had some verbal altercations with a few names in the business, but fans are still trying to figure out what the WWE plans to do with him in the future. And one particular name is getting repeated, who could face off against Styles in the Show of Shows -
Logan Paul.
AJ Styles is rumored to face Logan Paul at WrestleMania
Prior to the Elimination Chamber events and before
John Cena turned heel and beat the bejesus out of Cody Rhodes, rumors were afloat that Cena could have a fight against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. 2025 has been announced to be Cena's farewell tour, and many speculated if Paul could be the one to face off against the Cenation Leader at WrestleMania after the events of Royal Rumble.
But now we know that John Cena will go up against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Championship. That leaves The Maverick without an opponent to fight at the Las Vegas event. But with
AJ Styles in the mix, the chances of these two individuals going up against each other have increased exponentially. He is set to appear on the next Monday Night Raw episode on March 10, and rumors say he could very possibly call out Paul for a fight.
Road to WrestleMania from Royal Rumble is paved with rivalries
The storyline between AJ Styles and Logan Paul began at the 2025 Royal Rumble when Logan Paul managed to eliminate both AJ Styles and CM Punk one after the other to secure his place in the Top 3 along with John Cena and Jey Uso. Since then, the company has touched upon a possibility surrounding these two wrestlers a few times. Unfortunately, that also means
Bron Breakker vs. AJ Styles might not happen, which a lot of fans were anticipating.
Styles and Paul are yet to have a face-to-face, so hopefully, Styles calling out Logan Paul can move the story along faster. Both wrestling stars have their own style of play inside the ring, so it will be intriguing to see who has the upper hand in this situation. The Phenomenal One is also rumored to retire on his 50th birthday, which is just two years away. As such, WrestleMania 41 could be his version of a swan song.
