Kalpana Raghavendar has been hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt at her residence in Hyderabad. According to PTI, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening when she was found unconscious in her home.
Authorities were alerted by the Residents' Association of her building, who raised concerns after they were unable to contact the singer. The police arrived at her residence and forcibly broke open the door, discovering
Kalpana in an unconscious state. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where her condition is being closely monitored.
Kalpana is best known for winning the fifth season of popular music reality show 'Star Singer'. Further, she was also seen in the first season of Bigg Boss Telugu, hosted by Jr NTR. Starting her career as a playback singer at just five years old, she quickly gained recognition for her powerful voice and extensive music catalog. Over the years, Kalpana has recorded over 1,500 songs in various languages, including Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil.
