Jaipur Traffic Police has released an advisory for the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans on April 28, 2025, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Traffic diversions will be implemented on key routes like Tonk Road and Bhawani Singh Road to manage the expected congestion.

NEW DELHI: The Jaipur Traffic Police have issued a detailed traffic advisory for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2025, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
The match will begin at 7.30pm, and a significant increase in vehicular and pedestrian traffic is expected in the surrounding areas. To ensure the smooth and orderly flow of traffic, the following arrangements will be in place:

Traffic diversions:
  1. General traffic coming from University Gate towards University Mode (Tonk Road) will be diverted from Janta Store via alternate routes.
  2. In case of excessive vehicular pressure on Tonk Road, general traffic (excluding match spectators) will be diverted from Gandhinagar Mode towards Gandhi Circle and R.B.I. Cut, and further towards the Ganesh Temple.
  3. Traffic from JDA Circle towards Rambagh Circle (excluding spectators' vehicles) will be diverted towards Gandhi Circle and Trimurti Circle if heavy congestion occurs.
  4. Traffic from Statue Circle towards Polo Circle (excluding spectators' vehicles) will be diverted via parallel routes in case of heavy traffic.
  5. Traffic between Pankaj Singhvi Marg and Vidhan Sabha Tiraaha may also be diverted via alternate routes if necessary.

Rajasthan Roadways buses will be permitted to move via Narayan Singh Tiraaha, Prithviraj T-Point, Prithviraj Road, Statue Circle, Park Prime, and Cham House Circle during the match.
Parking restrictions:
  • Parking of all types of vehicles will be prohibited on the following routes during the match:
  • Tonk Road from Gandhinagar Mode to Narayan Singh Tiraaha,
  • Bhawani Singh Road from Rambagh Circle to 22 Godam Circle,
  • Janpath from Statue Circle to Vidhan Sabha Tiraaha,
  • Pankaj Singhvi Marg from Vidhan Sabha Tiraaha to Fruit Mandi Cut and up to Tonk Road.

The entry of heavy vehicles into Jaipur city will remain prohibited until the conclusion of the match.
Designated parking areas for spectators:
  • Parking for VIP vehicles will be arranged inside the stadium premises in the South Block.
  • Vehicles with passes entering through the South Gate will be parked at the Football and Archery Grounds.
  • Spectators entering through the East Gate will park at the designated site near Subodh School/College Ground at Rambagh.
  • Spectators entering through the North Gate will park at the SMS Investment Ground near Ambedkar Circle.
  • Spectators entering through the West Gate will park at the designated site at Amroodon Ka Bagh.

After the conclusion of the cricket match, all parked vehicles will exit towards Kathputli Road. Ambulances and essential service vehicles will be allowed to move without any restrictions.
The main roads expected to experience heavy traffic during the cricket match are Tonk Road (from Gandhinagar Mod to Narayan Singh T-junction), Bhawani Singh Road (from JDA Circle to Rambagh Circle, Polo Circle, and up to 22 Godam), Bhagwan Das Road (from Statue Circle to Polo Circle), Janpath, Pankaj Singhvi Road, and Kathputli Road.
