BENGALURU: Mystery shrouds the death of a 46-year-old advocate, whose body was found on NICE Road near Kengeri Friday night. Police suspect he was killed by some unknown persons after his car reportedly met with an accident.
The victim was identified as H Jagadish of SMV Layout, Kengeri. Jagadish hailed from Malavalli in Mandya. His cousin, Dr Prabhanjan filed a complaint, suspecting murder.
Police control room got a call, reporting a body was lying on Nice Road near Raman Estate junction in Kengeri. Police reached the spot and found the body about 200 metres away from his car. The engine was turned on and the doors were locked. The parking lights of the vehicle were switched on. There were dent marks on the left and right sides.
In his complaint, Dr Prabhanjan said, "There were injuries on his left leg and stomach. The back portion of the head was open, and the brain spilled out. I suspect miscreants forced him to come out of the vehicle after causing the accident. Then, they murdered him. His mobile is missing."

According to sources, Jagadish was driving back after visiting a client, who is an inmate in Bengaluru central prison. "Accident has happened for sure as the dent marks on the vehicle indicate it. But what caused the death, we will know from the autopsy report," an investigating officer said.
ACP (west), Vikash Kumar Vikash, said three teams have been formed to investigate the case. "As of now, we are not in a position to comment on the nature of the incident. We are probing the case from all angles," he said.
