'Raid 2' box office collection day 3: Ajay Devgn starrer crosses Rs. 50 crore mark in 3 days

Despite a good start and a Saturday surge driven by positive word-of-mouth, the film's growth was limited by a three-way box office clash.

Ajay Devgn’s much-anticipated 'Raid 2' opened to solid numbers, and it has been able to maintain a good momentum.
The sequel to the 2018 hit, which carried high expectations from fans and trade alike, crossed the half century mark and minted Rs 51.31 crore in three days, according to Taran Adarsh.

The film started its box office journey on a very good note, collecting Rs 19.71 crore as it became Ajay’s second biggest opening since the pandemic, beating films like 'Drishyam 2' and 'Shaitaan.' His biggest opening till date remains Rohit Shetty’s 'Singham Again,' which collected Rs 43.5 crore on its opening day.

Day 3 - Rs 18.55 cr
Total - Rs. 51.31 cr
The stats show that the movie will enjoy a strong reign at the box office. The jump of 42.15% from Friday to Saturday has impressed the audience and trade experts alike. Moreover, despite the strong competition not just from Bollywood but South with films like 'Hit 3' and 'Retro,' the Ajay Devgn starrer has managed to attract audience to the theatres.
'Raid 2' directed by Rajkumar Gupta, featured Ritiesh Deshmukh,Vaani Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles. It would be interesting to see how the film fares on Sunday.
Ajay will be next seen in 'Dhamaal 4' with Ritiesh Deshmukh, Jaaved Jafferi and Arshad Warsi. He also has 'Son of Sardaar 2' with Mrunal Thakur in the pipeline.
