Ahmedabad: In the Class 10 results announced on Thursday, students from Ahmedabad rural areas performed better compared to their peers in the city. The rural areas achieved an 82.58% pass percentage, against the city's 79.95%.The statistics show that out of 46,912 registered students from Ahmedabad city, 46,005 took the exam and 36,782 succeeded, resulting in a 79.95% pass rate.For Ahmedabad rural, from the 39,123 registered students, 38,498 appeared and 31,791 cleared the exam, achieving an 82.58% success rate.Grade-wise analysis reveals better performance of students from rural areas. The A1 grade was achieved by 1,429 rural students compared to 1,378 city students. The A2 grade showed 4,752 rural and 5,721 city students. The B1 grade had 6,482 rural and 7,583 city students, while the B2 grade recorded 7,351 rural and 8,596 city students. The C1 and C2 grades showed 7,248 and 4,682 rural students respectively, against 8,415 and 4,682 city students.Year-on-year improvement was evident in both regions. Ahmedabad city's pass percentage increased from 78.20% to 79.95%. The result of rural areas improved from 81.74% to 82.58%.These results demonstrate consistent academic excellence in rural Ahmedabad.
