The Kerala Congress P J Joseph faction on Saturday announced its candidates for the 10 constituencies they are contesting. The candidates include M P Joseph, a retired IAS officer and the son-in-law of K M Mani. Apart from Joseph, there are four new faces in the list.

HISAR: A team of bajra scientists of CCS Haryana Agricultural University here have been chosen for the prestigious Team Research Award of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in recognition of its outstanding research work on bajra.

There was no official confirmation on this but a tweet from the former Punjab Congress president's handle on Friday said: "This is to inform everyone that Sardar Navjot Singh Sidhu will be released from Patiala Jail tomorrow.
