Actress Amala Paul allegedly denied entry to Kerala temple: 'Sad and disappointing that religious discrimination still exists'
“Even though he’s Gujarati and settled in Goa, he wasn’t familiar with many South Indian films.
I just told him I was from Kerala.”She deliberately chose not to disclose her identity as an actress during the initial phase of their bond. “I didn’t tell him I was an actress. I gave him access to a private Instagram account,” she revealed, as reported by On Manorama.
“While I was at home expecting our child, he started watching my films one by one”The couple’s journey took a new turn when Amala found out she was pregnant. “Later, I found out I was pregnant, and we got married soon after,” she shared. It was only during this time that Jagat began exploring her body of work. “While I was at home expecting our child, he started watching my films one by one. He enjoys watching award shows, so seeing me receive awards, walk the red carpet, and speak on stage really astonished him.”
She remembered one particular moment that highlighted his growing admiration: “He asked me, ‘When can I watch one of these red carpet events live?’” Amala smiled and added, “Honestly, I had no clue at the time — even ‘Level Cross’ hadn’t come out yet. But I told him, ‘Very soon, it will happen.’ And look at us now.”
“I’m truly grateful to God for this moment”Ending her speech on a heartfelt note, Amala expressed deep appreciation for those who supported her journey. “I’m truly grateful to God for this moment. I also owe heartfelt thanks to Arfaz Ayub, the director of ‘Level Cross’ — he’s still working tirelessly for the film. The shoot wasn’t without its challenges, but every bit of it has been worthwhile.”
On the work front, Amala Paul's previous Malayalam outing was the Asif Ali starrer 'Level Cross'.
