Two friends found hanging from tree in Moshi
Pune: The MIDC Bhosari police on Saturday morning found two men, both residents of Pimpalgaon in Jamkhed taluka of Ahilyanagar district, hanging from a tree at Khirid Vasti in Moshi.
Deputy commissioner of police Shivaji Pawar told TOI, "The two (one 25-year-old and the other 30-year-old) were good friends. They had gone to the Moshi area on Friday. We suspect that it was a suicide pact, but the reason behind the suicide is not known."
The police on Saturday morning received a call from a resident of the area, stating that two men were hanging from a neem tree. A police team reached the spot and brought them down. They were declared dead on arrival at a hospital, the police said.
The police are yet to track down the duo's movement in the Moshi area. "We haven't recovered any suicide note from their clothes," he said.
"We have established contact with their family members, but yet to record their statements. Both of them were drivers. One of them was married and he fought with his wife a few days ago," Pawar said.
