'Worst Fears Confirmed': Prince Harry’s Emotional Reveal Post Hearing | WATCH
Prince Harry said Royal Family tried to trap him and Meghan by withdrawing their security in the UK after they stepped down from royal duties.
Prince Harry has opened up about the withdrawal of his police protection in Britain even outside the court as he told the Telegraph that it was very "difficult to swallow" for him when his security was withdrawn. He said he would find it hard to forgive as his worse fears were confirmed that the police protection was withdrawn to prevent him and Meghan from leaving Britain to start a new life.
Prince Harry's security was withdrawn as he stepped down from his royal duties in 2020. Harry approached the court, trying to overturn the decision by the Home Office. Last year, the High Court in London ruled that the decision was lawful but an appeal court agreed to hear the case after Harry's lawyers directly applied.
Harry was in the UK for a two-day appeal hearing on the case. As he appeared in the court pushing for security in Britain, an incident came to his help as he had to rush out of the court during a fan outburst.

The Duke and Duchess viewed the removal of their security as a way to force them back to Britain, as visiting the UK as outsiders without security would be unsafe for them.
Full-time taxpayer-funded security is given to the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and their three children. A "bespoke" process was created for Duke and his family, requiring them to give 30 days notice of any plans to travel to the UK so that the department can weigh and decide on granting protection.

'People would be shocked to see the evidence'


Prince Harry said he was deeply unhappy with some of the evidence that he had heard during the closed sittings of the court. “People would be shocked by what’s being held back,�?he said, adding that his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad�? He said he was exhausted and overwhelmed by the legal process that had been going on for several years.
