PUNE: A man killed his 26-year-old wife and was caught transporting her body on a scooter in Pune district, Maharashtra on Tuesday, police said.
Police intercepted a 28-year-old accused on his two-wheeler in the Nanded City area during early morning hours, following a tip-off, according to an official.

The police team discovered a woman's body concealed within a gunny sack.
The official stated that the accused, Rakesh Nishar, had allegedly strangled his wife Babita at their Dhayari area residence following a domestic altercation.
He said, "The police control room received a call around 1.30 am about a man transporting a body on a scooter. A patrolling team intercepted the vehicle and found a woman's body stuffed in a gunny sack."
