Four cops fined 5K each

Pune: Deputy Commissioner of Police(Zone IV) Rajkumar Shinde fined four policemen posted with Wanowrie police Rs5,000 each for threatening a Karnataka-based businessman and forcing him to hand over gold ornaments during an investigation in a theft case.Shinde imposed the fines after the policemen were indicted in a departmental inquiry.
