COMEDK 2025 exam postponed in 12 cities due to Operation Sindoor: Revised dates to be announced soon

Comed-K Under graduate Entrance Test 2025, scheduled to be held on May 10, has been postponed in select cities in accordance with directives issued by the Indian government under Operation ‘Sindoor’The affected test cities are Gujarat: Jamnagar (Test City Code: 26428); Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar (14126), Jammu (7994); Punjab: Ludhiana (14458), Bathinda (1686), Jalandhar (2288), Mohali (38190), Patiala (8756), Amritsar (8799) and Rajasthan: Jodhpur (16596), Bikaner (8665), Sriganganagar (28906).Around 3000 students were expected to take exams in these centres.As per official instructions, educational institutions and establishments in these cities have been directed to close. The revised dates for these centres will be announced later, said a press release from Comed-K.“Candidates assigned to centers in these cities are advised not to panic. All candidates are requested to regularly check the official website www.comedk.org and www.unigauge.com for further updates and instructions,” the release read.“We have sent individual communication to all students regarding the postponement. We have advised them not to panic and will hold the exam on an alternate day whenever the government permits,” said Dr S Kumar, secretary, Comed-K.The examination will proceed as scheduled for all other candidates in other cities on May 10, 2025 at the time slots/session mentioned in their Test Admission Tickets.Around 1.31 lakh students are to appear for Comed-K’s (Consortium of Medical, Dental and Engineering colleges of Karnataka) entrance on Saturday for engineering programmes in private colleges of Karnataka and select pan India member universities.
