Boy electrocuted in Khagaria

Khagaria: A 10-year-old boy was electrocuted when a high voltage live wire fell on him while he was playing at Shishbanni Maira village under Paura out police outpost in Khagaria district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Shivam Kumar, son of Lalkun Muni. The body was sent to the sadar hospital for postmortem, police said.
In another tragic accident, a middle-aged man died on the spot when he came under the wheels of a passenger train near Pitaunjhiya railway crossing between Maheshkhunt and Pasraha railway station on the Mansi-Katihar section of the East Central Railway (ECR) on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Sarwan Kumar, 45, of Basudeopur village in Khagaria district, Maheshkhunt GRP sources said.
