Division level Rovers & Rangers meet tomorrow
Mysuru: The Bharat Scouts and Guides District Association, in collaboration with K Puttswamy First Grade College, is set to organise the Mysuru Division Level Rovers and Rangers Meet 2025 on March 7 at the Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering's Kempegowda Indoor Sports Complex.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, P Vishwanath, district chief commissioner of The Bharat Scouts and Guides District Association, said: "The meet will be officially inaugurated by PGR Sindhia, the state chief commissioner of Karnataka State Bharat Scouts and Guides. Gundappagowda, president of the Vidyavardhaka Sangha, will preside over the event. Environmental expert and actor Suresh Heblikar, and assistant state commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides BK Basavaraj will attend".
C Naganna, a retired professor from the University of Mysore, will moderate a session on ‘The Role of Youth in Building a Strong Nation.' A dance competition themed on ‘Sustainable Development Goals' will be held in the afternoon. Students will engage in a discussion on ‘The Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.' Over a thousand Rovers and Rangers from more than 60 colleges are expected to participate in the event.
State commissioners Geetha Nataraj and Radha Venkatesh, district secretary Abdul Jameel, and professor Girish were present.
