Indore: A man was arrested for bike theft, and stolen vehicles and its part valued at approximately Rs 3 lakh were recovered.
DSP Umakant Choudhary said that based on a tip-off, the police arrested Arun Sakhla, 34, a resident of Gosala Telikheda, Mhow.
During interrogation, Arun confessed to stealing seven motorcycles from various locations, including three from Kishanganj, and one each from Sendhwa in Barwani district, Sanawad in Khargone district along with Nandanagar and Rajrani Nagar areas of Indore.
Police recovered five stolen motorcycles and engine of one more, amounting to a total estimated value of Rs 3 lakh.
Kishanganj police station in-charge Kuldeep Khatri said that the accused was charged under relevant sections of the BNS and further investigations are underway.
