HYDERABAD: A 24-year-old migrant worker from Chhattisgarh was allegedly stabbed by two of his colleagues at Nagole in the early hours of April 21. He succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital the same day. Police arrested the accused on Tuesday night and remanded them in judicial custody on Wednesday.
According to Nagole inspector A Surya Nayak, the deceased, Deviram, along with accused Mukesh and Yogesh, all natives of Chhattisgarh, were working at the mineral water plant of Veeraswamy in Nagole for the past few months. They were staying in a room nearby.
At 11.30pm on April 20, the trio started consuming alcohol in their room and purchased fish curry.
