Body of a 24-year-old man missing for a week found in pond in Gurgaon
Gurgaon: The body of a 24-year-old man, who had been missing since April 1, was discovered on Sunday afternoon near a pond in Bhondsi village. It was found by workers cleaning the pond near the Seetarama Temple. The body was confirmed to be that of Shubham, son of Devendra from the Chandni Chowk in Bhondsi.
Devendra reported that his son had gone missing after April 1 and that some friends had informed him his son had been left near the pond. A missing person complaint was filed with the Bhondsi Police, who reviewed CCTV footage near the pond. In the footage, Shubham was seen standing close to the pond, and it was confirmed that his friends had left him there before heading home. On Sunday, the workers noticed a body floating in the water and alerted the cops. ACP Surender Foghat from Badshahpur and Inspector Surender Kumar rushed to the scene, where the body was retrieved and sent for autopsy.

The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. The deceased's family has raised suspicions of foul play, and an investigation is underway.
