Bhubaneswar: The BJD on Thursday strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and pledged its complete support to the govt in its counter-terrorism efforts. The statement came during an all-party meeting held at Parliament Annexe to discuss the incident.
Representing BJD at the meeting, Rajya Sabha member Sasmit Patra expressed deep sorrow for the families affected by the attack. "We condemn this inhuman and cowardly act in the strongest possible terms," Patra said, echoing the sentiments of BJD president Naveen Patnaik.
The party urged the govt to take decisive action against those responsible for the attack. "The perpetrators of this gruesome attack must be brought to justice," the BJD national spokesperson emphasized during the meeting.
Reaffirming the party's stance on national security matters, BJD assured its full cooperation with the govt's counter-terrorism measures.
