85-year-old woman dies by suicide

Bhopal: An 85-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide in the Aishbagh locality on Tuesday afternoon. No suicide note was recovered, so the exact reason behind her extreme step could not be ascertained.
Aishbagh police registered a case. Investigation officer ASI Sanjay Ojha said that the deceased, Ramkali Bai Yadav, wife of Tikaram, was a resident of Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar in Aishbagh. Her leg was injured around eight days ago, and the wound was not healing.
On Tuesday, the male members of the family went out to work. She was at home with her daughter-in-law, Shakun Bai. Around 12pm, Shakun Bai told her that she would take her to the hospital. She went to a relative's house in the neighbourhood to drop off her toddler daughter, Kumkum. When she returned, she found that Ramkali Bai hanged herself by making a noose of a dupatta and tying it to her granddaughter's swing rope. Probe is on.
