Advocate, caretaker found dead in mysterious circumstances in rural Bengaluru
Bengaluru: A 27-year-old advocate N Ramya and her caretaker Puneeth, 20, were found dead under mysterious circumstances in her house in Srinivasapura, Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural.
The incident came to light on Thursday night, when Puneeth entered the house around 8pm and found Ramya hanging from the ceiling of her bedroom.

Her father, Nagaraj, and younger sister had gone out. A distant relative of Nagaraj, Puneeth lived with the family after Nagaraj's wife passed away in 2020.
"Puneeth was very attached to Ramya and he called her Akka (sister). Her death panicked him. He sent a voice message, saying Ramya committed suicide on WhatsApp to a few close family members. Then, he switched off his mobile and hung himself in another room," police said.
Ramya's family members suspect murder. "Based on a statement made by Ramya's family, we have taken up a murder case against unknown persons. Also, the family filed another complaint, saying Puneeth, after coming across Ramya's dead body, committed suicide in sheer panic," a senior police officer said.
"Once we receive the autopsy report of Ramya and Puneeth, we will get a clear picture," the officer said.
