BJP committed to sports devpt: Dy CM Diya Kumari

Kota: Deputy chief minister Diya Kumari said Monday that the double-engine BJP govt will serve permanently, not just for five years. She emphasised the administration's commitment to strengthening sports and athletes across the state. The event took place at the Raghurai Endo Sports Complex in Nayapura, where Diya Kumari, as chief guest, presented awards to female wrestlers competing in the Under-20 National Wrestling Competition. The three-day event was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday.
"Such sports events are being organised for the first time in Rajasthan, and I extend my thanks to MP and LS Speaker Om Birla for his efforts," Diya Kumari said.
"I believe such big events will continue to be organised in Rajasthan in time to come as the double-engine govt has been established in the state, and it is not just for five years. The BJP govt will always be here forever and serve the people," Diya Kumari said. She highlighted the positive developments in sports during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ten-year tenure. TNN
