However, the appreciation triggered a fan war on the internet. Some vehemently opposed the nomination, while a few seconded the Warriors’ thoughts about the player.
“If he beats out Mobley, this award is a fraud”, said one fan siding with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Evan Mobley.
