Ajith Kumar's latest action thriller, 'Good Bad Ugly', continued to perform well at the box office, even as its momentum slowed slightly during the second week. Easter Sunday brought an added boost to the film.

According to a report by trade analyst Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 6.75 crore as per early estimates on Day 11 which was a Sunday. After a stellar opening week that saw the film collect an impressive Rs 119.15 crore across its Tamil and Telugu versions, the collections dipped a bit as the days passed. On its second Friday, the film managed Rs 5.75 crore, followed by Rs 6 crore on Saturday. This takes the film's India net total to a robust Rs 137.65 crore.

Theatre occupancy

On Sunday, 'Good Bad Ugly' recorded an overall Tamil occupancy rate of 41.09%. The audience turnout varied through the day, with morning shows seeing a modest 24.64% occupancy, which climbed to 48.88% in the afternoon. The evening shows peaked at 55.39%, reflecting the film’s continued draw among moviegoers, before dipping to 35.44% for the night shows. This pattern shows that while the film’s initial craze may have softened, it still has the fan's attention, especially during prime viewing hours.

The story of 'Good Bad Ugly' is about 'The Red Dragon', a gangster who tries to leave his criminal past behind to reunite with his wife and son. Just as he thinks he can start afresh, circumstances force him to confront the very world he tried to escape, putting his family and his own resolve to the test.
