NEW DELHI: Hockey India (HI) has expressed solidarity with the families impacted by the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
"We extend our deepest condolences to those affected by the tragedy in Pahalgam. May their souls rest in peace and their families find strength," the post reads.

The attack has triggered national outrage, intensifying demands for swift justice and enhanced counter-terrorism strategies.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited the injured at Government Medical College in Anantnag and assessed the security situation at the attack site in Baisaran meadow, Pahalgam.

He was briefed by senior officials on the ongoing operations.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed profound grief over the incident and reaffirmed the government's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism. He assured that the government would take decisive action against the perpetrators and those orchestrating the attack.

A National Investigation Agency (NIA) team, led by a Deputy Inspector General, has joined the investigation at the attack site to assist the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The NIA's role includes a detailed examination of the site, gathering forensic evidence, and aiding in the identification of those responsible for the attack, which is noted as the most lethal civilian assault in the region in nearly two decades.
