Emotional music video explores the deep bond between mother and daughter

In celebration of Mother’s Day, a new Bengali music video titled ‘Aagle Rekho Maa’ is set to release, telling a story of a mother and daughter navigating their journey toward independent living. The narrative captures how their interdependence becomes a powerful and liberating experience.
Aparajita Adhya stars alongside Priyanka Bhattacharjee, who not only acts in the video but also takes on the roles of director and creative director. The music, composed by Ishaan Mitra, features lyrics by Somraj Das and vocals by Suchismita Chakraborty.
Speaking about the project, Aparajita shared, “Calling Priyanka my daughter is an understatement. In my family, everyone sees her as one. She calls me ‘Mamoni,’ and our bond is truly maternal. When she approached me with this project, I said yes immediately. Watching her take charge both in front of and behind the camera made me immensely proud.”
Priyanka added, “The mother-daughter relationship is one of deep care and protection. It’s a bond where roles often reverse, making both women stronger through their mutual support. This video reflects that evolving dynamic.”
