Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is preparing for the 10-day Vaikunta Ekadasi festival (January 10-19). Srivani trust-linked VIP break darshan tickets will be released on December 23, and Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets on December 24. Free darshan tokens will be available from January 10-19. Only protocol VIPs will be allowed darshan on January 10.

TTD EO J Syamala Rao reviewed the arrangements in place for the 10-day Vaikunta Ekadasi festival with Devasthanams officials at Tirumala on Tuesday.
TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams is gearing up for the grand celebration of the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival for ten days between Jan 10-19.
TTD EO J Syamala Rao and additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed the arrangements in place for the 10-day Vaikunta Ekadasi festival with Devasthanams officials at Tirumala on Tuesday.
Briefing reporters about the arrangements for the festival, TTD EO J Syamala Rao stated that the temple administration will release the Srivani trust linked VIP break darshan tickets quota pertaining to the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival period on Dec 23.
TTD has also made arrangements for the release of Rs 300 priced special entry darshan tickets quota for the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival period on Dec 24.
TTD review meeting

The Tirupati trust will issue slotted sarvadarshan tokens (free darshan tokens) to the devotees through 8 ticket counters set up in Tirupati and at one counter at Tirumala from Jan 10-19.
TTD has announced that only protocol VIPs will be allowed for darshan on the Vaikunta Ekadasi day on Jan 10 and that in view of heavy pilgrim rush anticipated for the festival, TTD has cancelled Vedasirvachanam and all forms of privilege darshans at Tirumala during the 10-day festival period.
Meanwhile, as per the tradition, the golden chariot procession will be held at Tirumala on the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival eve on Jan 10 and Chakrasnanam rituals will be held on the next day coinciding with the Vaikunta Dwadasi.
TTD will be maintaining a buffer stock of 3.5 lakh Laddus in addition to the 3.5 lakh Laddus produced and distributed to the devotees daily.
