4 killed, 9 injured as bldg’s roof caves in
Udaipur: Four persons were killed and nine injured when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed at Sisoda village in Rajsamand district on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Kalulal Meghwal, Shantilal Meghwal, Bhagwatilal Meghwal and Bhanwarlal Meghwal.
Four bodies were recovered on Tuesday during rescue operation carried out by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) along with the help of villagers for about five hours.

Nine persons buried under the debris were also rescued.
Rajsamand collector Bhanwar Lal and superintendent of police Manish Tripathi inspected the site. Lal said the construction of a community hall by the Meghwal community was underway at the village. Poles meant to support the RCC were removed recently. The roof collapsed when community members went to clean the hall in preparation for a social function, he said.
