Two-day editing workshop for children begins

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor and director Madhupal inaugurated a two-day editing workshop for children as part of the preparation of Children’s Day special daily under the leadership of Kudumbashree Bala Sabha members at Maria Rani Convention Centre on Saturday.
Madhupal talked about the importance of writing from one’s own experiences and learnings.
He said that children should gain confidence from constant perseverance and asked them to be vigilant against the dangers of drug addiction by having the courage to differentiate between the good and the bad.
This was followed by a discussion and an editing class led by writer K A Beena.
Twenty-five children selected from all districts are participating in the workshop. The special daily, which includes their writings, is a first-of-its-kind initiative by the Bala Sabha.
