The opening day box office number for 'Vettaiyan' is out now, and the film grossed around Rs 70 crore worldwide, according to Cinetrak. In Tamil Nadu, 'Vettaiyan' earned around Rs 22 crore, while the domestic collection of the film is estimated to be around Rs 46 crore. Overseas made a major contribution by earning around Rs 23, and the film received a massive response in the US, Malaysia, and Singapore.
