Donald Trump to become first sitting president at Super Bowl; All the White House officials who graced the event before

President Donald Trump will attend Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, marking the first time a sitting US president has attended the event in person. Trump will also participate in a pre-game interview on Fox News. Historically, three vice presidents have attended the Super Bowl.

The President of the United States of America is set to make history - yet again!
Donald Trump is set to attend Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, where the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans.
This will make Trump the first “sitting President of the United States” to attend the Super Bowl in person. While no sitting president has previously attended a Super Bowl, three vice presidents have made appearances over the years.
As reported by Axios, Trump’s presence at the Super Bowl will be tagged along with a pre-game interview as well, for which the POTUS is set to appear on Fox News with Bret Baier. The interview will take place at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and is set to air during Fox’s pregame show at 3 p.m. ET.
This will mark the first time in three years that a US president has participated in a pregame interview for the Super Bowl broadcast. Former President Joe Biden had previously declined to sit down for interviews with Fox News in 2023 and CBS News in 2024.

Interestingly, Trump also rejected NBC News in 2018 after granting two interviews to Fox News over the years one with Bill O'Reilly in 2017 and another with Sean Hannity in 2020.
Although no sitting US Presidents have graced the occasion of the Super Bowl yet, and Trump is set to make history with his appearance - three Vice Presidents have done so over the years.

The Super Bowl LIX will be held at 6:30 pm Eastern Time, on February 9, 2025, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kansas City Chiefs, who has won the winner’s trophy four times in 1969, 2019, 2022, and 2023, will be facing the Philadelphia Eagles for the Super Bowl, who has appeared in five Super Bowls, but won just one at the end of the 2017 season.
