Bokaro/Dhanbad: NEET (UG) examinations 2025 was conducted in a peaceful and malpractice-free environment across eight centres in Bokaro on Sunday.
Taking stock of various examination centres, DC Vijaya Jadhav said, "Senior officers, magistrates and police force were deployed at all examination centres in the district. A total of 2,880 candidates were to appear in NEET (UG) examination 2025 in the district, out of which ,2804 candidates appeared and 76 candidates were absent."
The eight centres are PM Shri Panchanna Rajbala Plus Two High School Satanpur, District Ramrudra CM School of Excellence Chas Bokaro, Kendriya Vidyalaya Number One Sector Four, Mahavir Ji Plus Two High School Bijulia, Kendriya Vidyalaya CTPS Chandrapura Bokaro, Upgraded Government Plus Two High School Lakarkhanda, PM Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 03 and Plus Two High School Petarwar.
Meanwhile,
Dhanbad also witnessed a peaceful conduct of the the NEET (UG) examination across seven centres.
Sub-divisional magistrate Rajesh Kumar said the exam was held for general candidates from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and extended till 6:00 pm for differently-abled at following centres: Delhi Public School, D.A.V. Public School - Koyla Nagar, Rajkamal Saraswati Vidya Mandir - Dhansar, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, IIT (ISM), BIT Sindri, and Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University.
