Rajkot: At least 13 people from Porbandar were duped of Rs 17.65 lakh with promises of a good job in Singapore. Police booked accused Devshi Parmar for luring the youth and cheating them. According to case details, Parmar called the victims at his office between July and September 2021, got copies of their passports, promised them to jobs in Singapore and collected money.
Victims approached the police after Parmar disappeared with their money.
Main accused in murder case nabbed
Rajkot: The main accused in the murder of Avinash Dhuleshiya of Radhe Krishna society in Rajkot, Mayursinh Jadeja, was detained from Delhi airport when he arrived from Dubai. The CID crime investigating this case had got a red corner notice issued in Jadeja’s name. The probe agency had earlier arrested four persons in connection with the clash at Radhe Krishna society last month that had resulted in the death of Dhuleshiya.
