Financial condition of Maharashtra has deteriorated, says Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut
NASHIK: The Shiv Sena (UBT) MP, Sanjay Raut, on Tuesday said that the financial condition of Maharashtra has deteriorated. The state does not even have money to provide salaries to its employees.
Speaking to media persons in Nashik city on Tuesday, Sanjay Raut claimed that even the deputy chief minister and state finance minister, Ajit Pawar, is worried about the worsening financial condition of the state.
Stating that Deputy CM Eknath Shinde complained to the union home minister, Amit Shah, about funds not being given to them by the state finance minister, Ajit Pawar, Raut said that Shah replied to Shinde about the situation of the state. Raut said that if Shah’s reply to Shinde is made public, then the real picture of the state's financial condition will be clear.
When asked about the claim of the suspended police official that he was instructed to encounter the accused in the Massajog village Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case, Valmik Karad, Raut said that the state govt should prove into the issue.. If this was mentioned in the police diary, then why was the probe not conducted at that time?
Raut also said that the situation in Sindhudurg district is more dangerous than Beed district. Twenty-seven people have been killed in Sindhudurg so far, including nine Shiv Sainiks.
