Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering hosts Industry-Academia Conclave 2025

Chandrapur: Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering (RCERT), Chandrapur, hosted the Industry-Academia Conclave 2025 on Sunday, aimed at bridging the gap between industry needs and academic learning.
The event was presided over by Vinod Dattatreya, president, Sardar Patel Memorial Society, and graced by principal Dr Anil Chitade, Amit Bankar, deputy chief engineer, CSTPS, and Sandeep Hase, executive engineer, Gosikhurd, among others. Retired Wing Commander Dr Ajay Kelkar addressed the gathering online. Speakers elaborated on real-world industrial practices, govt service preparation, and the critical role of engineering in national defence. Sessions highlighted the operations of CSTPS, skill development strategies, and innovations in defence technologies.
Principal Dr Chitade emphasised the need for students to align academic knowledge with industrial demands to enhance career prospects. The conclave featured interactive sessions, drawing wide participation from industry experts, entrepreneurs, and students. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response, with support from faculty members and seamless coordination by the organising team.
