Mumbai: Pushed by miffed co-worker, man dies in lift shaft

MUMBAI: A construction worker killed his co-worker by pushing him down four floors into the empty lift duct of an under-construction building over a trivial argument. The incident occurred at Malad (east) late on Friday. Police have arrested the accused, Abhichandra Yadav, 28.
Yadav was seated near the staircase on the fourth floor while the deceased, Abhishek Chauhan, 28, was climbing the unlit stairs using his cellphone's torchlight.Miffed with the light shining into his face, Yadav picked up a fight with Chauhan and later pushed him into the lift duct.
