Donald Trump has declared war on free trade, threatening to take jobs from other countries and prevent US businesses from relocating abroad
Virtually declaring war against free trade in a bid to win battleground states in the US presidential election, MAGA supremo Donald Trump on September 25 threatened to take “other countries’ jobs”, besides stopping American businesses from leaving US shores.
“Did you ever hear that expression before? Have you ever heard that we are going to take other countries’ jobs? It’s never been stated before. We are going to take their factories — and we had it really rocking four years ago — we are going to bring thousands and thousands of businesses and trillions of dollars in wealth back to the good ol’ USA,” Trump declared during a speech in Savannah, Georgia.
