Lucknow: UP BJP general secretary (organization) Dharampal Singh on Saturday said that every booth and ‘mandal' should be made foolproof and strong for the upcoming electoral battles.
Addressing a meeting of booth committee, mandal presidents, former district presidents, former district officials and senior party functionaries at booth number 182 Daudpur in Isauli assembly of Sultanpur as part of ‘Village-ward Chalo Abhiyan' in the series of events to mark BJP's Foundation Day, Singh said that workers should make efforts to counter opposition's conspiracies.
The party also carried out a cleanliness drive at Kali Mata temple in Daudpur. The party functionaries also visited the Dalit-dominated villages in Maniyarpur and contacted people. A ‘shobha yatra' was also taken out with the workers in Daudpur and people were informed about the achievements of the govt.
"The country and the state are rapidly moving towards development. We have to shatter every conspiracy of the opposition. BJP is a political party that fulfils its promises. Today, the benefits of govt's schemes are reaching the poor without any discrimination," he said.
Singh said that it was due to the hard work of the workers that the BJP became the world's largest political party. He said that the BJP workers remained in touch with the public through continuous contact and communication and this quality was making the party stronger at the booth level.
