LU teachers undergo NEP orientation

Lucknow: Lucknow University teachers learned all about National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its impact on language and literature education during a short-term course (STC) on NEP orientation and sensitization titled "Language and literature in NEP-2020' organized by the UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre on the campus on Monday.
The training session featured an in-depth discourse by educators and other distinguished officials from University Grants Commission, All India Council of Technical Education, and others.
During the session, experts emphasized on the importance of integrating universal human values into education, aligning with UGC's broader vision of fostering ethical, moral and holistic learning. They also elaborated on various initiatives currently being implemented by UGC to promote universal human values in academia.
The course has garnered enthusiastic participation from over 75 attendees nationwide, with active engagement and discussions throughout the session. Many participants expressed their appreciation for the program, highlighting its relevance in fostering a value-based, holistic approach to life and education.
