Kanpur clubs clinch cricket wins

Kanpur: Host HBTU outplayed Unique Club by 69 runs in KDMA league match played here on Sunday. HBTU deciding to bat first scored 217 runs in 37 overs. Thereafter they wrapped the innings of Unique Club on 148 runs in 34.5 overs.Wanders Club in another league match humbled host Sir Padampat Singhania Academy by 3 wickets. Academy put into bat posted a total of 216 runs and Wanders Club in reply scored required 217 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 38.2 overs and won the match.

Trials – As many as 135 aspirants for UPCA under – 16 trials were examined by the selection committee of Kanpur Cricket Association at KDMA school Barra on Sunday. Selected aspirants will thereafter play friendly matches to show their skills.
Football club transfer – Football players registered with District Football Association can seek club transfer in between April 28 to 30. Interested players may submit their requisition at District Football Association's office at Mall road near Sapana Palace. According to Ajit Singh players may withdraw their application of club transfer by May 2.
