Orders to step up security across Raj

Jaipur: Police have stepped up security across the state keeping in view the alert following the Pahalgam terror attack. ADG rank officials visited divisional headquarters Saturday. ADG V K Singh visited Jodhpur and held a meeting with commissioner Rajendra Singh. Similarly, ADG Hawa Singh Ghumaria held a meeting with Bikaner range officers.
Bikaner range police Saturday carried out extensive searches at more than 1,500 places across four districts . The operation encompassed hotels, dhabas, railway stations and bus stands, along with various accommodation facilities.
IG Bikaner Om Prakash said in this coordinated effort, 287 teams with 1,401 personnel conducted thorough inspections and took actions against 446 offenders. tnn
