Reversing Thar runs over 4-year-old girl

Gurgaon: A Thar, being reversed in Laxman Vihar 3, ran over a 4-year-old girl who was playing nearby on Thursday night. Cops said they were informed about the incident around 11pm. The girl, Annu, was taken to the Civil Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. A post-mortem examination was conducted, and police registered an FIR against the Thar driver under sections 106(1) (death by negligence) and 281 (rash driving) of BNS on Friday. "The case is under investigation," a police spokesperson said.
