Life term for couple in minor’s rape & abortion case

A special court in Ashoknagar sentenced a couple to life imprisonment in Ashoknagar on Friday. Special judge of POCSO court Priya Sharma convicted the man for raping a minor in August 2017 while his wife was convicted for the abortion of the rape survivor.

Bhopal: A special court in Ashoknagar sentenced a couple to life imprisonment in Ashoknagar on Friday. Special judge of POCSO court Priya Sharma convicted the man for raping a minor in August 2017 while his wife was convicted for the abortion of the rape survivor.
The investigations started in August 2017 when a newborn was found dead in Ashoknagar.
Investigations revealed that Lodhi,27, had raped her.

And after she got pregnant, he and his wife gave some pills to the minor to abort the child, said cops. tnn
