Health and wellness take centre stage in Happy Streets event in Agra
Agra: In a bid to promote fitness and mental well-being, in a stress-free and relaxed environment, TOI organised a Happy Streets event at Pushpanjali Seasons in Agra's Dayalbagh area on Sunday.
Over 250 people across all age groups, engaged in a variety of fitness and recreational activities, including yoga, zumba, slow cycling for kids, lemon race for women, ludo, and tug of war among others. The activities were designed not only to promote physical well-being but also to inspire individuals to adopt an active and healthier lifestyle.
The event started at 7am with an energetic zumba session, setting the tone for the morning. Children actively participated in various games and activities. In the slow-cycle competition, Aaryan Chaudhary secured first place, followed by Aaradhya Chauhan in second. Meanwhile, in the lemon race, Dr Ripun won the first prize, followed by Sanjana Agarwal securing second place and Aaradhna Saxena finishing third.
Sharing his experience, ten-year-old Aaryan, said, "I am very happy to have participated in the slow cycling event and winning first prize. The initiative has given me a platform to understand the importance of fitness in our lives."
Echoing similar sentiments, Dr Ripun said, "I thoroughly enjoyed the Happy Streets event and, there could not have been a better place to organise it than Pushpanjali Seasons. I urge TOI to organise such events in other parts of the city so that more people can benefit from it."
